2018 Inquiry by & Liaison with Australian Human Rights Commission as impact of data
Indicator and evidence summary:
This evidence comprises 12 report citations of Dr Jones' work in an Australian Human Rights Commission report, see pp.35-43. The citations show how Dr Jones' data helped lead to and informing the AHRC Inquiry into the (mis)treatment of people with intersex variations in health, education and other social policy. The references to Dr Jones' data show response to Dr Jones' research findings on medical interventions being unwanted, coerced, covert, and of negative impact for many people with intersex variations where not their choice or not properly consented to at an age of their choice - and other key findings.
