    This mini-conference aims to explore the new challenges in diffusion of innovations introduced by revolutionary transformation in data, technology and computation. The mini-conference will discuss the most pressing challenges in diffusion of the new (innovations) in the New world and strategies to avoid hidden pitfalls on the algorithmic horizon. Drawing on a range of methods including social network analysis, machine learning, and big data analysis, we seek to contextualize the New challenged in diffusion, such as digital innovation diffusion, information circulation networks, showing the complexity of diffusion of the Innovations on the new algorithmic contour.
