AI in healthcare: current and future applications Artificial Intelligence (AI) promises to transform care delivery as it has the potential to harness the vast amounts of genomic, biomarker, and phenotype data that are being generated across the health system and beyond. The purpose of this presentation is to introduce AI and machine learning technologies, as well as their current and future usage in healthcare. It will also touch on the challenges that need to be addressed to fully utilise AI in the healthcare. The many benefits of AI cannot be realised unless it is safely and effectively integrated into routine care delivery.
