Description
Drama pedagogy may not be every English teachers' 'go to' strategy when teaching literacy but this presentation seeks to challenge this. We show how drama pedagogy can be used to teach language (including grammar), develop students' speaking and writing and affirm identity by creating identity texts that draw on students' culture and linguistic resources. The strategies hep teachers to improve their students; literacy and engagement and forge stronger links with the students' families and communities.Period | 30 Nov 2018 |
