Description

Risk management analytics is a technology-driven, data-oriented approach to managing organizational risks. These analytical methods and technologies help organizations identify, measure, and predict risk based on massive amounts of data, providing accurate insights into where risks can be managed and controlled effectively. Risk management helps decision-makers understand how products and processes can be used and operated safely and how various system failures, including technical, organizational, and human, can be prevented. It also helps decision-makers to plan and cost-effectively perform asset integrity management. The existing risk management methods and technologies must be modified to effectively manage today’s organizational risks due to the increasing system complexity under uncertain environments. As a result, finding optimal solutions through risk management performance plays a significant role in the decision-making process. Therefore, assessing the degree of risk management is challenging for decision-makers in practical cases. This special issue is designed to bring together high-quality original research related to the theory and practice of risk management analytics models and applications in different domains.
