This journal is published by Edinburgh University Press. Since 2008 it publishes three issues per year (Feb, July and Nov). It's founding Editors are Prof. Nicole Anderson and Prof. Nick Mansfield. From 2008-2014 Nicole Anderson and Nick Mansfield co-edited the journal. From 2014 Nicole Anderson is the sole Editor. It is the leading and only journal in the world that focuses on the work of French thinker Jacques Derrida.Derrida's work spanned numerous disciplines and the journal is interdisciplinary, and accepts works from the perspectives of: Literature, Language, Philosophy, Art, Visual Communications, Cultural Theory, Media Studies, Communication, History, Cultural Anthropology, Geography, Film, and so on.
Derrida Today focuses on what Derrida's thought offers to contemporary debates about politics, society and global affairs. Articles cover research that deals with the ongoing relevance of Derrida's work and deconstruction in general to contemporary issues.
