Developing reliability, validity and generalisations: A case study approach

Activity: Talk or presentationInvited talk

Description

One problem in the social sciences is addressing criticisms from empirical scholars that our research cannot be generalised. I demonstrate strategies for dispelling such criticism. I review the case study as a methodology as a primary example for building reliability, validity and generalisations into social science research so researchers can avoid the criticisms and present research that tells a story based on indisputable evidence, and from which readers can learn lessons.
