This presentation highlights approaches, pedagogical considerations, and learnings from our inquiry project: “The City of Edmonton”. This project emerged from kindergarten children’s play. Participants will hear how these projects unfolded in each classroom, how the inquiry was supported and enhanced through play and art-making, along with tips and strategies for undertaking this learning approach in their own early years classroom.
