This presentation highlights approaches, pedagogical considerations, and learnings from two inquiry projects: “The City of Edmonton” and “The Playground Project”. These projects emerged from kindergarten children’s play. Participants will hear how these projects unfolded in each classroom, how the inquiry was supported and enhanced through play, art-making, and technology, and tips and strategies for undertaking this learning approach in their own early years classroom.
