A meeting of minds for brain research: join us in the quest for understanding brain function and mental health.
Following on from the success of the second Inter-University Neuroscience and Mental Health Conference which attracted over 250 delegates for an exciting two-day meeting at the University of New South Wales, the conference will be held again this year on 20 and 21 September 2016 at Macquarie University.
The conference will draw on expertise of researchers from over five of our NSW Universities and will be an open meeting with a call for papers (15 minute oral) and posters for parallel sessions over two days.
The session topics will be driven by the registrant presenters and will likely address topics such as (and not limited to):
• Neurodegeneration and Neuroinflammation • Stress • Anxiety across the lifespan • Brain imaging and mental health • Behavioural neuroscience • Addiction/Obesity (lifestyle) • Stroke/trauma/brain injury • Cognitive training to avoid dementia • Exercise-related treatment for healthy ageing and good mental health.
