The presentation showcases the language teaching program which aims to equip non-Greek carers and other professionals of a bilingual Aged care facility in Sydney with basic oral language skills. The teaching program also provides the necessary cultural awareness to enable effective use of Greek in face-to-face encounters with the Greek-speaking residents. The program is a partnership between MQU and a Greek-Australian aged care facility and it is funded by the Multicultural NSW.
