This 3 hour workshop focussed on practical, research informed strategies for mentoring early, mid and later career teachers. Reflexive practice on past mentoring actions allowed participants to challenge prior assumptions and actions, build knowledge of the ladder of influence in observations and Timperley's (2001) model of mentoring conversations was considered. The workshop featured use of embodied mentoring scenarios to interrogate existing approaches and offer new perspectives and strategies on the mentoring process in schools.
