An international event hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) in partnership with the National Geographic Society, the 'Dialogue of Civilizations – IV' is one of several 'Dialogues' aimed to promote scholarly and public discourse on five ancient, literate, civilisations (Egypt, Mesopotamia, South Asia, China, and Mesoamerica), discussing their similarities and differences and what they can inform us about the past, present, and future.
