Submitted a letter as an individual and as a member of the Multicultural Communities Council of Australia Inc. for the “Multicultural Framework Review” to the Department of Home Affairs on 28th September 2023. This joint effort, in collaboration with the Multicultural Communities Council of Australia Inc., Multicultural Alliance Australia, and the Multicultural Communities Council of NSW Inc., demonstrates our commitment to shaping policies that honour and celebrate diversity. We advocated for Australia’s multicultural society to be recognised as a national asset: “Australia’s multicultural society is a national strength”.Government's release of the Review report: ‘Towards Fairness: A multicultural Australia for all’ and the Government Response.The Review examines the state of Australia’s multicultural society, and recommends changes to laws, policies and institutional settings that build on the strengths of multiculturalism and enable it to respond to contemporary challenges.
