The Centre for Corporate Sustainability & Environmental Finance at Macquarie University has hosted its inaugural industry event "Target Zero: Zero Carbon, Zero Pollution, Zero Waste" on December 6th & 7th 2018 to feature new business models, technologies and strategies that focus on eliminating carbon emissions, pollution, and waste, and focus on alternative models to growth. What does the sustainable company of the future look alike? How can we eliminate carbon emissions, pollution, and waste? What are alternative models to growth? What practical things can we do transition to a low carbon economy? Senior leaders in industry and thought leaders from academia shared their personal and professional experiences of what is means to move towards target zero. Special guest Craig Reucassel, host of the ABC documentary 'War on Waste' joined us as a keynote speaker.
