The Centre for Media History, Macquarie University and the National Film and Sound Archive hosted the 9th biennial Australian Media Traditions Conference, held at the NFSA in Canberra on 3–4 December 2015. Papers and panels on all aspects of media history, particularly broadcasting history, were presented and included journalism, audiences, technology, photography, advertising, public relations and media institutions.
