Symposium exploring 100 years of the BBC was held at the UK National Science and Media Museum in Bradford and online via Zoom link. Sponsored by the Arts and Humanities Research Council with support from the National Science and Media Museum and the journal, Media History. The symposium brought UK and international experts and publics together to take stock of research about the past century of British broadcasting. Scholars in history, media and cultural studies, literary criticism, music, technology and related fields presented papers as part of Roundtable Sessions. Two Plenaries of invited speakers focused on two topics, BBC history and Archives.The symposium was organised by Dr Marcus Collins, Reader in Contemporary History and AHRC BBC 100 Fellow at Loughborough University. Dr Madsen was invited to be part of the History of Broadcasting History Plenary, Sept 14, 2022; and also presented in the Documentaries and Features Roundtable session, 15 Sept, 2022.
