Description
The Pleasure of the Copy, a half-day workshop led by Macquarie University’s Visiting Research Fellow Professor Marcus Boon (York University), Dr Margie Borschke (Macquarie University) and Dr Lucas Ihlein (University of Wollongong). The free workshop will bring together a small group of scholars and creative practitioners to think through emerging approaches to understanding the cultural significance of copies and copying practices, their histories and their rhetorical dimensions in social and cultural politics. The workshop was held at the Big FAG Press, an artist-run printing collective in Sydney. Attendees included academics, artists, and curators.Period | 28 Aug 2015 |
