Working with uncertainty: Conversations during Professional Experience

    Initial professional experience is a time of challenge for many pre-service teachers. The talk described the effectiveness of the concept of 'Liminality' to the transition to teaching using a case study approach. It also canvassed the nature of pre-service teachers' professional connections using an adapted version of Nelson & Harper's critical communities of conversation concept.
