Located in the Lancang Kuning hall, on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 19-20, 2019, the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of Riau Province conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Management of Organizational Performance. The activity presented speakers from the OTL Section of DGT, Jordan (PKO Sub-Section Head), Arie Siswanto and Meyka Dhian Prayogo with participants from all Riau Provincial DGT Regional Office employees, MMKO and KPPN Performance Management officers, Office Heads and representatives of each section at Pekanbaru KPPN.

In his remarks, the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of Riau Province said that the management of Performance is part of good and professional organizational governance, so that it is not only limited to administrative activities. Therefore, support from all parties, namely from all fields and general sections in the regional office and all sections and sub-sections in the KPPN is very necessary to realize the organization's mission.

Furthermore, Jordan (Head of Sub Division of PKO) in his presentation said that organizations must survive to realize the agreed organizational mission. "So the quality of the implementation of management of an organization needs to be measured so that its effectiveness can be known", said Jordan. To confirm this, the Head of the PKO Sub-Section quoted Prof. Rahat Munir from Macquarie University, namely: " If you don't measure results, you can't tell success from failure and thus you can't claim success or avoid unintentional rewarding failure, if you can't recognize success, you can't learn from it; if you can't recognize failure, you can't correct it and if you can't measure it, you can neither manage it nor improve it . "

"On this matter, quality assurance has been carried out by the Ministry of Finance Secretariat General to the echelon I work unit within the Ministry of Finance in the form of performance management review, Strategy Focused Organization (SFO) surveyand still in the process stage, namely performance management audit," Jordan further explained.

As the end of the FGD activities, Arie Siswanto and Meyka Dhian Prayogo present technical materials and ins and outs of performance management, which include: performance contracts, IKU and Strategic Initiatives, cascading and alignment, IKU, DKO manuals and performance assessments (PK Sub-Section)
