Importation of Drugs, Kratom (The Daily News, online)

I am a freelance journalist for The New Daily and I am writing a story about the alleged illegal importation of Kratom into Australia by drug smugglers in Indonesia. It was brought to my attention that there was a secret Facebook group that was selling Kratom powder to Australians who are chronically or terminally sick. A supplier from Indonesia is believed to be shipping up to three kilograms of kratom powder per purchase through the mail and placing it in three or four clear plastic zip lock bags, labelled green tea or coffee. I am interested in discussing how drug smugglers are able to get around the system and methods for optimising detection of illegal drugs.
