    Press/Media: Expert Comment

    Description

A recent investigation into the nature of cultural spread across Sydney has revealed that over 300 languages are spoken across the city, and more than half of publicly educated students have a background of a language other than English. To break down stereotypical ideas of Sydney’s language diversity, this research has been converted into a book titled ‘Multilingual Sydney: New People, New City’ to be released next week. The author of the book, Alice Chik joins The Daily this morning to further unpack the research.
