The Consumers Health Forum of Australia (CHF) is working with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) to promote consumer and community awareness and confidence about important new work the AIHW is progressing on developing a National Primary Health Care Data Asset. It is envisaged that the Data Asset will support a better understanding of what happens to patients in the primary health care system – including their diagnoses, treatments and outcomes by bringing together various sources of primary health care data over time.
