Description

Short video (2 mins) posted on Twitter explaining the results of thin-section petrography conducted on pottery fragments from the Giza pyramid field. The results reveal that the pots were made in northern Lebanon between Beirut and Tripoli, thus helping identify the destination of state trading missions of the great kings who built the Pyramids.
