Description
The author studies two pieces from the Amarna Age. The first is the fragment of an indurated limestone royal statuette with a pair of cartouches containing the names of the Aten. The second is the jar sealing Brooklyn Museum of Art (16.110). The improved reading of its inscription is given: aD wAD n Hb Itn m ms Itn, “fresh fat for the festival of the Aten on the birthday of the Aten”. (OEB)
