Description
After a brief introduction on the Predynastic and dynastic periods in Egypt, the author reports on the flint objects recovered from the fill of a large limestone tomb during the Australian excavations at Helwan near Cairo. The objects, originating from an Early Dynasty workshop, are briefly discussed, including the frequency of tool classes, such as the various types of blades, scrapers, and the few knives. (OEB)
