Excavations in the Teti cemetery at Saqqara

Description

During the 1994 excavations in the Teti Cemetery at Saqqara burials were discovered dating from the late OK to the early 19th Dynasty, including one which was accompanied by a number of wooden models of boats, servants etc., characteristic of the MK and rare at Saqqara. Two OK mastabas have so far been excavated, one owned by a man named Ka-aper and the other by a woman called Nedjet-em-pet. (OEB)
