Description

The Admonitions of Ipuwer are analysed on the assumption that as a creative work of literary art, it will contain metaphors and indeed original metaphors without analogies and therefore rare meanings or secondary meanings. Several examples demonstrate new meaningful readings of until now difficult passages in the Admonitions.
