Description

Max Weidenbach was one of the artists and draughtsmen who accompanied Richard Lepisus on the pioneering royal Prussian scientific expedition to Egypt 1842-1845. His expedition diary came with him to South Australia when he emigrated in 1849. Work on transcribing and publishing the diary has begun.
