The team involved in "Writing Themselves in 3" had variously disseminated elements of the research with South Australian education, government, and union staff. Jones, Hillier and Ward had given talks in the state about provisions which needed to be updated and useful examples from elsewhere (including Victorian policy samples). This led to the development of guidelines for challenging homophobia in South Australian education contexts, disseminated to schools.
