A combination of the "Writing Themselves In 3", "From Blues to Rainbows", "Policy and GLBTIQ students" and "Intersex: Stories and Statistics" projects/ and related publications had promoted particular policy protections for transgender and intersex youth in education contexts. South Australia's DECD engaged in ongoing mostly informal consultations with the research teams and other sources, and developed provisions in these areas, refining them over time with feedback.
