    Jones' review work, chairing work and data was used to help develop: UNESCO (2016) Out in the Open: Education sector responses to violence based on sexual orientation and gender identity/expression. United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization: Paris. See pp. 6 (contributed review) & 131, 133, 139. She contributed to organising advocates and education representatives for convening events. This all further contributed alongside the work of international network collaborators to the development, advocacy for and adoption of a UN Ministerial Statement 'Call for Action'. Jones also acted as the Invited Chair for the UNESCO Ministerial Meeting May 17 2016 "Roundtable II – Prevention of violence based on sexual orientation and gender identity/expression: curricula, teacher training and partnerships with civil society", during the course of events.
