In the NSW Government's 'NSW LGBTIQ+ Health Strategy 2022-2027'; p.16 cites Proj Jones' intersex study findings around the negative impacts of medical interventions for people with intersex variations, and p.17 cites Prof Jones' collaborative study of how transgender and gender diverse young people were disproportionately affected by depression and suicidality. These findings lead to various strategies around health provisions seeking to reduce and mediate these negative health impacts for these populations in NSW.
