Description of impact *
The Cross-Cultural Collaboration on Contemporary Careers, or 5C Group is a non-profit consortium of faculty teams from cultural regions around the world that explores career success and career management and how they vary. In addition to cultural differences, factors such as age (or “generation”), familial background, ethnicity, industry, etc. are examined in order to assess their impact upon career differences. The ultimate purpose of the group is to improve understanding of modern careers to advance scholarship, appreciate differences, and identify progressive solutions for managing career issues (e.g. work-life balance, fulfillment) on behalf of individuals, career practitioners, organizations, and even societies.Category of impact | Quality of life impacts |
