Description of impact *
Using my research knowledge from over 3 decades of employment as an academic and my earlier experience of writing animation scripts to create new animated films to support the study of Pompeii in NSW schools. This impact was articulated through taking the MQ Incubator Research Impact course, I won with $20,000 in the pitching competition. I expect the impact to extend further into other Secondary Schools e.g. UK Classical Civilisation at GCSE level. The films are made in collaboration with SME - Cognitive Media based in the UK. The impact also builds from an Impact Case Study submitted to REF2014 in the UK.Impact date | 10 Oct 2023 |
