Description of impact *
Monograph relied upon in landmark case which establishes precedent for a more inclusive and contextual approach to determining joint authorship in copyright law. At the Hearing the Court of Appeal (England and Wales) ordered both parties prepare submissions on Chapter 2 of the monograph and the final judgment cites the book, an indication of its influence on the outcome of that case (Kogan v Martin [2020] FSR 3, [34], [67]).
