Biography

Abdulla Al Suman is a Research Associate at the Computational NeuroSurgery (CNS) Lab at Macquarie University, Sydney. He received a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) in 2010 in Bangladesh. He was a lecturer from 2010 to 2014 in the RUET. He also holds a Master’s by Research degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2016 in Australia. He is currently finalizing his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the UNSW. In his Master's and Ph.D. studies, he was involved in a collaboration project with the Medical School of Australian National University and Trauma Orthopaedic Research Unit (TORU) of ACT Health. His research interests include medical imaging, 3D image processing, video coding, bioinformatics, neuroinformatics, and deep learning.
