Personal profile

I'm a Macquarie University Research Fellow based in the eCentre Clinic, a specialist research unit which develops and evaluates world-class digital mental health treatments for a range of mental health and physical health conditions.

Here, I lead a program of research on the use of shared decision-making and decision-support tools to improve consumer uptake of and engagement with digital mental health treatments for depression and anxiety.

More broadly, my research interests are in enhancing our understanding and delivery of mental healthcare consistent with the best available evidence, as well as individual preferences, goals, and needs.

Research interests

Shared decision-making; patient decision aids; depression; anxiety, bipolar disorder; co-occurring alcohol/other drug use conditions; digital/e-health interventions; co-design; consumer involvement in research; qualitative research; mixed-methods research.
