Ali Furkan Kalay is a Research Fellow at the Macquarie University Centre for the Health Economy (MUCHE), where he brings his expertise in leveraging novel, large datasets for applied research, such as social media, maps, and administrative records. Before joining MUCHE, Ali submitted his Ph.D. thesis titled "Essays on Administrative Data Methodologies," in which he explored the novel applications of administrative data in economics and addressed some of the related statistical challenges. As a researcher with a keen focus on health economics and theoretical/applied econometrics, Ali is also actively involved in several ongoing research projects.
