Alice James is a current second-year PhD student at the School of Engineering, Macquarie University. She has earned her Masters of Research in Engineering in 2021 and a Master of Engineering in Electronics in 2020,  from Macquarie University, Sydney, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Mumbai University in 2018. She is a Casual Academic for Mechatronics Engineering at Macquarie University (2020-Present) and a Research Assistant at the School of Computing (2019-Present).

Her research focuses on UAVs with expertise in control algorithms for autonomous drones, integration of embedded systems, design, and machine learning algorithms for UAVs, innovative sensor fusion, and perception and navigation.
