Biography
Professor Aman Oo is a highly esteemed higher education leader with extensive international experience and a proven track record of excellence in both academia and industry. Currently serving as Dean of Engineering at Macquarie University, he previously held the same distinguished position at Deakin University and Auckland University of Technology, where he led Engineering, Computer, and Mathematical Sciences. A strong advocate for global collaboration, Professor Oo has successfully forged strategic partnerships with academic institutions across continents and spearheaded significant university-industry joint projects.
As a Full Professor of Electrical Engineering, Professor Oo has made substantial contributions to electrical power engineering, renewable energy, smart grid, engineering education, and academic leadership. His prolific scholarly work includes over 350 high-impact publications in peer-reviewed journals, books, and conference proceedings.
