Biography

Amin Tavallaii is a board-certified pediatric neurosurgeon, academic researcher, and innovator currently serving as the Computational Neurosurgery Fellow at CNS Lab. With a strong foundation in neurosurgery, he completed his MD, 5-year neurosurgery residency, and 1-year pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He holds an MSc in E-Learning in Medical Education and also an MBA, blending clinical expertise with technological innovation. Since 2018, Amin has been an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, performing over 1000 complex cranial and spinal procedures at Akbar Children’s Hospital, Dean of Research and Visiting Faculty in Health Informatics and AI. His research, with 30+ publications, focuses on integrating AI into neurosurgical diagnostics, including predictive models for intraventricular hemorrhage and AI segmentation tools. As Founder and CEO of INNEUROS Technologies, he has developed patented devices like DigiDRAIN (a portable CSF drainage system) and AI software such as AIVVI (ventricular volume index for hydrocephalus). At CNS Lab, Dr. Tavallaii aims to advance radiogenomics, GAN-based data augmentation for rare tumors, and evolutionary neurosurgical devices, bridging clinical practice and AI to revolutionize patient care.
