Dr Amy Nguyen joined the Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research in December 2017. She is working across multiple projects, in areas including aged and community care services, chronic disease and health technologies such as My Health Record.

Amy has a background in both qualitative and quantitative research, and has conducted research in the areas of chronic diseases including obesity and gout, primary care, mobile health, and patient involvement in health app design. Amy also has a keen interest in effective scientific communication, and has been an active STEM Mentor for The New York Academy of Sciences since 2016.
