Personal profile

Biography

I am a postdoctoral research fellow in Macquarie University's School of Psychological Sciences. My research delves into reading difficulties, anxiety related to reading, and literacy in children with hearing loss. In my position as research fellow in the Department of Linguistics, my research involves taking a co-design and co-production approach to addressing the complexities around ear and hearing-health care, and speech language service provision for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.

I completed my PhD in Cognitive Science at Macquarie University. With a background in audiology and speech-langauge pathology, my research interests lie in language and literacy development in children with developmental and perceptual difficulties.
