Personal profile

Biography

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Clinical Psychology Registrar at the eCentreClinic, Macquarie University. I completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology Honours) in 2012 at Macquarie University, focusing on the mechanisms of decision-making. I then pursued a combined Doctor of Clinical Psychology and PhD program at the University of Sydney (submitted 2020), on the topic of eating patterns and cognition in obesity.

I have worked clinically in hospital, community and private settings with children, adolescents and adults, and I have training and expertise in the treatment of weight and eating disorders.

I am particularly interested in:

1. The role of eating and exercise behaviour on physical and mental health.

2. The interaction of emotional, cognitive and physical health factors in chronic health conditions.

3. The role of habitual and goal-directed behaviour in physical and mental health conditions.
