Dr Lee is a Macquarie University Vice-Chancellors Innovation Fellow, and is a member of the MQ Photonics Research Centre, Department of Physics and Astronomy, Macquarie University.

Dr Lee completed his PhD (Physics) in 2006. In 2010 he was awarded an ARC Post-Doctoral Fellowship and in 2014, he was awarded his Macquarie University Vice-Chancellors Innovation Fellowship.

Research interests

Dr Lee’s research interests include the development of compact terahertz (THz) radiation sources using solid-state lasers, with a view to enabling practical applications for THz radiation. He also has research interests in development of Raman lasers which operate in the visible wavelength range, as well as non-linear wavelength conversion of vortex laser beams.
