I am currently a PhD candidate in Linguistics at Macquarie University in Australia. I hold a Master of Research degree in Linguistics from Macquarie University and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics (TESOL Studies) from the University of Queensland. Prior to coming to Australia for my postgraduate studies, I was an English lecturer of Hue Industrial College, Vietnam, and later on, an English Training Coordinator for Passerelles numériques an international education NGO based in Da Nang City, Vietnam.
My years of teaching English to Vietnamese EFL students with various courses ranging from basic English to ESP and IELTS preparation classes makes me interested in doing research in English Language Learning and Teaching with special focus on pragmatics, teacher education, and textbook evaluation.
