- Chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) MRI to measure pH of Kidneys

- Tissue electrical conductvity imaging using Magnetic Resonance Electrical Properties Tomography (MREPT)

- Diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI) of brain tumors in rat models 

2. Electromagnetic modeling and simulation

- Studying Magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD) effects of coupling between electromagnetic phenomenon and fluid flow under the influence of ultra-high magnetic fields 

3. Internet of Things (IoT) applications in healthcare

- Development of fog/edge computing based motion sensing and analysis system for home based rehabilitation
