Biography

Dr Beth Catlett is a biochemist and post Doctoral Research Fellow at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation at Macquarie University. She has worked within government, industry and health organisations in the UK and Australia. Her PhD focused on enhancing hepatitis C testing uptake by utilising novel sample collection and testing techniques. Through her PhD at the Kirby Institute (Viral Hepatitis Clinical Research Program) and professional work at St Vincent's Hospital (Centre for Applied Medical Research) she developed an interest in understanding and removing barriers to healthcare among marganalised and vunerable populations.

Beth is experienced in quantitative research and project management and has a particular interest in using novel approaches and technology in translational research to reduce or eliminate barriers to care.
