Research interests

Bishwo is an Applied Entomologist with extensive experience in research on stink bugs, whitefly, thrips, and fruit flies. His work has included the development of benign pest control methods including the design and development of traps. Currently, his work focuses on the spatial and behavioral ecology of fruit flies, and major operational elements of the Sterile Insect Technique. His research interests are on biological control, applied insect chemical ecology, and other sustainable pest management tactics.
